INTRODUCTION
 Fetal brain structural changes occur rapidly during pregnancy. Knowledge of the normal morphologic appearances, signal intensity, and expected changes with gestational age is important for accurate interpretation of imaging studies of the fetal central nervous system (CNS). Ultrasound (US) is a great screening modality for CNS abnormalities, and MRI is then performed for definitive evaluation when an abnormality is suspected on US. The focus of this article is to delineate the normal anatomic landmarks of fetal brain development using fetal MRI at differentstages of maturation. Normal brain parenchymal lamination, cortical formation, gyration, myelination, posterior fossa development, andanatomy of the ventricular system, as well of the septum pellucidum and corpus callosum are reviewed. In addition, cerebral biometry and anatomy of other important structures observed on brain imaging is discussed.

  Các  chuỗi  hình  ảnh  nhanh  để  giảm  thiểu  hiện  tượng  nhiễu  do  chuyển  động  của  thai  nhi  là  cần  thiết  để  có  chất  lượng  chẩn  đoán  tốt  MRI  thai  nhi.  Các  chuỗi  chính  được  sử  dụng  là  chuỗi  T2  do  não  thai  nhi  có  hàm  lượng  nước  cao  và  hàm  lượng  chất  béo  thấp. Các chuỗi xung T2 có trọng số MRI cực nhanh này được gọi là chuỗi xung spin-echo nhanh một lần (ssFSE) (single-shot fast spin-echo) hoặc chuỗi xung turbo spin một lần thu được một nửa Fourier (half-Fourier acquired single-shot turbo spin echo).
